Founded: Established in 1989.
Faculties, Departments and Students: The University has 476 graduates. Currently 884 Georgian and foreign students are studying diploma in medicine, diploma in medical and e-pd and doctoral programs. 271 employees facilitating academic, administrative, other teaching and research in the university; there are 7 departments: 5 combines 39 disciplines (directions) to cover 74 courses in different modes; As well as to deliver training in scientific-research and clinical skills of departments.
Library Collection: The department has a separate library which consists a wide range of medical resources which includes 500000 books, 300000 research journals, genetic traits database etc and a free access to internet so that students can have online access on Google or Pub Med which creates a major impact over library to operate.
Hostels: The University has 4 hostels separate for both boys and girls with all essential modern amenities including wardrobe, electronic lock system, beds, internet facility, food, garden, study room, gaming section, common area for television, swimming section, gymnasium, library, etc.
MESS: Indian mess available on campus.
