Founded: Established in 1921.

Faculty: About 730 faculty members (5 academicians of the National Academy of Medical Science of Ukraine, 120 full professors, more than 554 associate professors and assistant professors).

Students: Over 6250 Foreign Students Over 2080 from 55 countries.

Library Collection: About 6,00,000 volumes.

Faculties, Departments and Institutes: VNMU is comprised of five faculties, 54 departments and the Institute of Nursing.

Hospitals: University Hospital, University Dental Center and 15 affiliated regional and municipal teaching hospitals, 4 practical training centres in rural areas.

Hostels: 6 modern buildings,4 canteens,7 buffets and 2 libraries (2 & 3 sharing rooms with fully furnished, cupboard, reading table, central heater, washing machine facility, gym, primary health centre, library, tv rooms, hostel security, cafeteria).

Mess: Indian mess available on campus.
