Founded: Established in 1933.
Faculty and Students: It has about 15,000 students, of which nearly 2,400 graduate students and 6,750 staff and faculties, 1,450 professors and associate professors. KMU has over 60 foreign scholars as honorary professor and guest professor.
Library Collection: With an accumulation of about 100,000 books, the college library has been assigned as Yunnan’s Central Sharing Library Network of National Literature.
